Why It Can Be Worth It
Why Some Families Choose to Stay Onboard in Nassau
Not every port day is created equal. While Nassau offers beautiful beaches and
excursions, a ship day can be the right choice for families who want to slow
down and enjoy what they already paid for.
Quieter onboard fun
Enjoy calmer pools and shorter waits for popular attractions.
Less rushing around
Skip packing up and heading ashore for only a few hours.
Time to recharge
Make room for spa time, dining, ice cream, or nap breaks.
Explore the ship
Experience spaces that are usually more crowded at sea.
Our Disney Wish Day
How We Spent Our Nassau Port Day Aboard the Disney Wish
Breakfast at 1923
We kicked off our day with a calm and elegant breakfast at 1923. No crowds, no rush—just delicious food and time together.
Hero Zone Fun
Daniela challenged us to air hockey, and we enjoyed having the space mostly to ourselves. It’s a great place to burn off energy indoors.
AquaMouse POV Ride
One highlight of staying onboard: minimal wait time for AquaMouse. We even captured a full POV ride for our vlog.
Sunset from Deck 5 Forward
After relaxing in our stateroom and enjoying ice cream, we took a sunset walk on Deck 5 Forward. The views were stunning.
Dinner at Worlds of Marvel
We dressed up for the interactive dining experience with Ant-Man and the Wasp, without feeling tired or rushed.
Evening Surprise
We returned to a sweet WALL·E towel animal and chocolates waiting in the room—the perfect little touch of Disney magic.
